      “Scenic” and historic. This use to be where you could have a drink, eat a basket of Shrimp & Rock Lobsters, AND watch them unload the shrimp boats right in front of you to be processed. Times have changed some.
    • Michael Anthony's ~ Cucina Italiana & Cooking School
      “Romantic” top of the line restaurant for that special night out. Recommended by everyone who has eaten there with special cooking classes for honing your own skills.
    • Old Fort Pub
      ~ “Romantic” “Scenic”~ beautiful quiet historical spot with a innovative menu to dine watching the sunset in a lovely quaint wooden building on the ICW. You will love the atmosphere!

      A local favorite! A touch of “Greek and Italian” dishes mixed in with with great soups, salads and wraps. A bike ride to Coligny Plaza from our rental home on North Forest Beach.
    • Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room ~ Savannah, Ga
      The best old fashion”Boardinghouse” style Mon~Fri lunch(only) around. Sit down to a great old fashion meal(See menu on website) and meet people from everywhere. One of our Fav places. Go early, there is always lines out the door!
    • One Hot Mama's American Grill
      Their cook has competed on TV. Specializing in ribs this is a local favorite.
    • Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe
      This is another local favorite! Breakfast all day and lunch. Very fresh country club style food. Popular after church on Sunday’s.
    • Skillets Cafe in Coligny
      Just down the street from 18Sandpiper. Great breakfast & lunch. We know! We have been there many times over the years.

  • The lawson’s spent a spring week at the home and enjoyed exploring the Island “Forest Preserve” (See guest photo album.) Of course Mr Lawson being an early riser was out and about with his camera and managed to capture a beautiful shot of a 18sandpiper sunrise from our beach!!!! Thanks Mr Lawson for the first sunrise picture. HEY! You could be right here on this page!
